Medical College Picks Central Wisconsin Region; Site Undetermined

Future family physicians will soon be educated and trained in central Wisconsin. Medical college officials hope to determine a location of the campus by September. Wausau, Marshfield and Stevens Point are among the possible locations. A second campus will open in Green Bay and the schools were planned to reduce the shortage of physicians and other health care providers in Wisconsin, especially in underserved rural and urban areas.  (Source: Wausau Daily Herald)  [Read article]
