Senator Cowles Listening Session—Ashwaubenon
Senator Robert Cowles will hold a listening session in Ashwaubenon to hear from constituents about state legislative issues, including the upcoming budget or proposed legislation. The listening session will take place at the Ashwaubenon Village Hall, at 2155 Holmgren Way, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.
He will also hold a nearby listening session in Kaukauna earlier the same day.

He will also hold a nearby listening session in Ashwaubenon on the same day.

Wisconsin Stroke Conference
The American Heart Association, the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health, and the Wisconsin Coverdell Stroke Program will hold this year's Wisconsin Stroke Conference: A Look at Rural and Urban Settings and Everything In Between on May 16th, 2019. The workshop "Abstracting Stroke Data That Will Work For All" will be held on May 17th.
Statewide Behavioral Health Summit
The second annual Advancing Behavioral Health Summit from the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment will bring together those working to improve behavioral health through an engaging, interactive day dedicated to strengthening collective work and impact. Interactive sessions will collectively identify health priorities and opportunities for systems changes that are necessary to improve the behavioral health of communities across the state. There is no cost to attend, although advance registration is required, as space is limited.
Wisconsin Rural Summit Summit
This two-day summit from Wisconsin Rural Partners will bring together people from across the state, in all types of professions and positions, to identify the top issues facing rural Wisconsin. The event uses facilitated panel sessions for the participants to identify top issues, address their strategies, share experiences and success stories.

Gatherings to Address Farmer Stress and Suicide Awareness
What: Gatherings to address farmer stress and suicide awareness.
Where: St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 325 Mill Street, Loganville.
When: Noon-2 p.m., Feb. 13 and March 13.
Who: Speakers include the Rev. Lance Wetter (Feb. 13), who was injured in a farm accident, and Roger Williams (March 13) of the Harvest for Hope Fund, along with representatives from Southwestern Technical College.
Wisconsin's Opioid Crisis: A Trauma-Informed Response (Green Bay)
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services will hold a two-day event focused on trauma's role in the misuse and abuse of opioids. The registration fee will be $75 per person for the full conference. The event is designed for mental health professionals, substance abuse counselors, medical professionals, law enforcement, and related professions. A full agenda will be available in February 2019.
Wipfli Rural Health Clinic Conference
Attendees to the annual Wipfli Rural Health Clinic Conference will receive quality education and have the opportunity to communicate directly with industry experts and to network with colleagues at other rural health clinics. The sessions are intended for all levels of rural health clinic professionals including administrators, CFOs, CEOs, CIOs, directors of finance, finance professionals, reimbursement analysts and office managers.

NOSORH, The Joint Committee on Rural Emergency Care (JCREC), and the South Carolina Office of Rural Health will hold the 2019 National Rural EMS & Care Conference in Charleston, South Carolina.
Invited attendees include rural EMS directors, medical directors and officers, rural health care providers, state EMS officials, state rural health officials, hospital administrators, elected officials, federal agency officials, and other EMS partners.
