30,000 Children in Wisconsin Have Had Coronavirus

The American Academy of Pediatrics said nearly 800,000 children have been infected by COVID-19 nationwide. In its latest state-level data report, the number of children ages 0-17 who tested positive for COVID-19 in Wisconsin was 29,626. Deaths or hospitalizations among infected children are rare. Children made up less than one percent of reported deaths stemming from COVID-19. Sixteen states, including Wisconsin, reported that no children had died from COVID-19.
