Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment Funds COVID-19 Projects

The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment has awarded nearly $4.8 million to 17 projects aiming to fight the spread of COVID-19 across Wisconsin. The funded projects include 11 statewide efforts that will support positive impacts in communities across Wisconsin, as well as dedicated projects in Milwaukee (4 projects), central Wisconsin (1), and northern Wisconsin (1).

Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment is giving $500,000 to the COVID-19 Emergency Management Assistance for Wisconsin Tribes; $322,420 to the Education and Empowerment for Wisconsin Migrant Seasonal Agricultural Workers program out of Family Health La Clinica in Wautoma; $108,628 to NorthLakes Community Clinic for its Rural Health Education & Community COVID-19 Response program; and $11,439 to CREATE Portage County to support scaling up the use of 3-D printing to produce personal protective equipment for health care professionals and first responders in central Wisconsin.
