The nation’s largest hospital association is asking all healthcare workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as case numbers increase again. The American Hospital Association (AHA) is one of several healthcare professional organizations that is urging members to get vaccinated. As COVID-19 cases climb this month, the AHA, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the American Nurses Association, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and other organizations have released statements advocating vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
