The Fox Valley is seeing a spike in breakthrough cases of COVID-19 in vaccinated people. In the first two weeks of August, breakthrough cases were 23% of total cases, according to ThedaCare. From April through June, breakthrough cases made up only 3.8% of all positive cases in the region.
