Ashland and Bayfield counties have issued emergency advisories requiring face masks in indoor public spaces. Dane County, along with the state’s largest cities, have passed face covering orders. Dane County Executive Joe Parisi is calling on Governor Evers to enact a statewide policy on face coverings, but Evers has said that the Supreme Court ruling prevents him from doing so. GOP leaders Scott Fitzgerald and Robin Vos have both spoken out against a statewide mask requirement.
