The Wisconsin Department of Health Services will only publish the number of schools in the state with COVID-19 investigations, but not the name the schools nor the severity of the outbreak. New DHS guidance issued to schools last week says school administrators should let families and all teachers and staff know about COVID-19 cases. But DHS offered no guidance about informing the public about COVID-19 cases in schools. Local health departments and schools will be responsible for sharing information about outbreaks with the public.
