FEMA Sending $47 Million to Wisconsin’s Vaccine Distribution Plan

FEMA and Wisconsin Emergency Management announced that more than $47 million in federal funding has been made available to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) for costs related to the COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan, including the establishment and operation of temporary vaccination assistance teams and facilities throughout the state. The expedited grant funding is an advance payment to DHS for reimbursement costs to distribute vaccines, such as the establishment and operation of temporary vaccination assistance teams and facilities throughout the state.
