Amanda Best, 34, was at an Appleton hospital when officials asked if she wanted to move to the alternative care facility at the State Fairgrounds. Best had tested positive for COVID-19 and also was diagnosed with double pneumonia. She told AP that she was glad she went. “They know exactly what they’re doing, I honestly feel like I’m at one of the best hospitals in the world,” Best said. “It doesn’t even feel like I’m at a makeshift type situation.”
