Forest County Launches Purple Tube Project

The Forest County Office of Aging just launched the Purple Tube Project, which assists first responders when they interact with dementia patients. The purple tubes contain medical histories and powers of attorney for dementia patients and are stored in the refrigerator for EMS or police to find. The Purple Tube Project started in Rock County in 2018, followed by Oneida and Vilas counties. People can pick up a purple tube for free at the Forest County Office of Aging.
