Marshfield Vaccine Research Key to CDC Study

A new study from the CDC, which showed Pfizer’s and Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines are 80% effective in preventing coronavirus infections after one dose, was mainly collected from the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute. The Institute received a $22.5 million grant in July to play a leading role in a number of CDC COVID-19 studies across the country.
