The COVID-19 pandemic caused an escalation in the amount of people seeking help for domestic abuse. Brighter Tomorrow, a Monroe County organization that assists survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, has a new project to support survivors: therapy dogs. Support for the therapy dog program is being provided by the Tomah Health Foundation.
