The Department of Health Services recommends testing nursing home staff for COVID-19 every two weeks. But nursing home leaders say that the current testing process, with its 4 days or more turnaround time, makes the recommendation unfeasible. Nursing homes leaders say rapid-results tests would make bi-weekly testing easier to do.
