Poor spend more than 30% of income on Health Care Costs

Households in the lowest income tier spent 33% of income on health care costs in 2015, according to RAND Corporation study just published. Households in highest income bracket spent 16%; middle-income tiers spent between 19.8% to 23.2%. Households spent an average of $9393 per person on health costs.
