People living in more isolated rural areas may be at less risk for contracting the coronavirus. Yet rural hospitals are facing two big challenges as they brace for the virus. One is the perennial lack of resources. Another challenge for rural hospitals is the aging populations they serve, who are generally mistrustful of government.
