The shortage of healthcare professionals is one of the biggest challenges of the pandemic, as the workforce shortages had been growing before the public health emergency started. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Department of Safety and Professional Services, and Department of Workforce Development just announced the launch of WisHealth Careers, a campaign to encourage Wisconsinites across the state to enter the healthcare field.
