Wisconsin in “Red Zone” for New COVID-19 Cases

A federal report places Wisconsin in the “red zone” for the new number of COVID-19 cases, since there were more than 100 new cases per 100,000 people last week. The report notes that there were notable increases are across the state, from Milwaukee to Pepin and Iron counties. The report recommends state and local officials to encourage mask usage and to consider a statewide masking mandate if cases continue to increase.
