Wisconsin Tribal health officials say the vaccine rollout has been going smoothly. The Ho-Chunk Nation, Lac Courtes Oreilles Ojibwe Nation, Menominee Nation, Oneida Nation, Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican Nation, and the Forest County Potawatomi Community have been administering doses to in the Phase 1A category and are moving on to vaccine people in the Phase 1B group. Despite the smooth rollout, two big challenges remain: vaccine demand is outstripping supply and health officials are in the dark about the arrival timelines for vaccines. They are preparing for mass vaccinations events in the future.
